Mt. Airy is a neighborhood located eight miles northwest of downtown Cincinnati. It was incorporated as a village in 1865. The largest portion of Mt. Airy forest falls within its boundaries. The iconic Mt. Airy Water Towers were built in 1926. With 8,779 residents, Mt. Airy is the 12th largest neighborhood in the City.
