Get To Know Oakley

Oakley is a neighborhood located six miles east of downtown Cincinnati. It incorporated as a village in 1898. Oakley Square is home to Aglamesis Bros Ice Cream, the 20th Century Theater, and many other shops and restaurants. With 10,429 residents, Oakley is the 9th largest neighborhood in the City.

A Symbol in Nature

The Oak Leaf represents the heart of Oakley’s Esplanade which is the gathering space of the community where all are welcome. Oakley is named after the mighty Oak trees that populate the area, and orange was chosen to represent the color of the leaf in the fall.

Oakley’s colors are Blue, White & Orange

Blue represents the sky, open spaces, sincerity, and loyalty.

White represents optimism.

Orange represents determination, success, joy, and warmth.
